| Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 9:31 AM | | Whoa! A lot has happened thus far in 2008! If there's one thing I've learned, it's that when the chips are down, you really do find out who your true friends are. Anyway, I've been working on videos and even bought a DVD camcorder last year for that specific purpose, but I'm finding the process of converting video files from a format that the camera can play into a format that can be edited in Windows Movie Maker to be extremely daunting. If there's anyone out there that can help, please let more...me know. less | |
| Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 9:30 AM | | Well... now I'm back in the US. I managed to survive in Taiwan for more than five years, but only made it for five months on the Mainland. Believe it or not, I wasn't even able to pull up LiveVideo during the last couple months that I was in Shanghai. All I did was reply to a comment about Nixon from my Attack of the Marshmallow Bear video. I mentioned his historic visit to China in the early 1970s and the next thing I knew, my access to LiveVideo was being BLOCKED!!! How little it takes to more...suffer the same fate as Wikipedia! less | |
| Friday, November 16, 2007 at 11:38 PM | | Well, I moved to China. Shanghai, to be exact. I hope to have some videos up soon to show what life here is like. So far, it's been quite a wild ride, though I should've expected that because I lived in Taiwan for five years before. | |

 | | | Shanghai Red Rain 05:39 This video is a compilation of footage I shot while recently teaching English in Shanghai. Though the urban cityscapes that often make up much of modern more...Asian mega cities often seem gray and brooding, I noticed, when going back through the imagery, that almost every frame seemed to be alive with some trace of red, whether in the clothing that people were wearing or the flowers, signs, etc. Peter Gabriel's song Red Rain, therefore seemed a fitting compliment to the hustle, bustle and sometimes frenetic nature of modern inner city life in China. less Added: Nov 10, 08 Views: 39 Category: Travel & Places |
