| | | | |  | what is a country or nation, since the old times of civilization fear has been the driving force to control a nation. Romans killed Christians and Jews more...alike to prevent a break down of its infrastructure. today we kill "terrorists". what is a terrorist, a human being, government or society that uses fear to control another human, culture or society. with the break down of the american government, the united states has committed repeated acts of terrorism to prevent the american people from seeing the truth and standing against the injustice of today's society. whether these acts be small or large, menial or grand acts of inhumanity it is these acts that frightens us to the very core allowing the government control. from a nation that prides its self on beating off the oppressor to allow a free nation, we have forgotten our own acts of terrorism. are we no better than hitler or the catholic church. have we not killed in the name of rightousness under god. have we not slaughtered thousands in pursuit of a better society. are we to forget the injustice of our own inhumane crimes. ( for those who have no idea what i am talking about then a short history of our nation. to be able to have a "free" nation from the oppression of the tyrant england, the united states has slaughtered native americans for land, wealth, and "peace", we have also invaded hawaii, alaska, puerto rico and the phillipians. we have mudered hundreds of women and men and children because they were "witches", we enslaved thousands of blacks because they were less than us and equal to an animal. we encamped thousands of german and japanese decendants because they were the enemy.) so what right do we have to let our government act as the oppressors now and the "hero" to the world against the evils of men. our soldiers die for a cause of freedom, or are they dying beacuse that is what the government pays them to do. i dearly value the lives of our men and they should do their job, however who is the evil here, what democracy do we really have if the votes of a nation can be ruled on by a court that is put in place by our government. who really is in control. how can we say that this nation or that human is evil all because our government tells us it is so. the same government that takes money, food, clothing, housing, and way of life from our children and gives it to people that are not even in this or of this nation.
so i ask that you look inside yourself as a human and find the reason you more... exists, why you love your life, and why you sit and do nothing or why you act. then tell yourself is this the right thing to be doing or should i do more. one voice in a sea may not be heard very well but create a sea of voices and the gods themselves will not be able to tune you out. less | Last reply Aug 16, 07
