 | | | | | Order Versus Chaos | I had a great time creating this video it could have gone on for many hours. It would have turned into more...an epic movie had I carried on, hope you enjoy this video as much as I had making it. I suppose that by keeping this five minutes in length has made it into a mini series, thats if I intend to make another one of these videos, which I doubt as I had a struggle keeping my cpu cool.... man it was really hard.
Chaos theory attempts to explain the fact that complex and unpredictable results can and will occur in systems that are sensitive to their initial conditions. A common example of this is known as the Butterfly Effect. It states that, in theory, the flutter of a butterfly's wings in China could, in fact, actually effect weather patterns in New York City, thousands of miles away. In other words, it is possible that a very small occurance can produce unpredictable and sometimes drastic results by triggering a series of increasingly significant events. "Chaos destroys and creates. Chaos is the spontaneous, unpredictable movement of the universe. Chaos is change, the only constant."
Order theory is a branch of mathematics that studies various kinds of binary relations that capture the intuitive notion of ordering, providing a framework for saying when one thing is "less than" another. So does Chaos bring about order? less
