Aang. Zuko. Faith. Fear. Two young men of completely opposite worlds. Two lives set on a path to intercept.
Aang is the Avatar, the person in more...whom the entire world has set it's faith. But what if the power that faith rests on gives rise to intense, focused, paralyzing fear? Aang is so fearful of himself that he is forced to rely on those around him. But he is forced to have faith in what he fears to keep alive.
Zuko is young man driven by fear: fear of loss and fear of pain. He is an outsider forced to rely only on himself. His faith is in his own abilities mixes with his fear to produce an unstable force that is powerful but destructive. In his effort to vanquish his fear by capturing the Avatar, and thus strengthening his faith in himself, he ends up being conquered by his fear and suffers both pain and loss.
Faith and Fear. Zuko and Aang. When these two opposing forces are set in motion, the only outcome is a Collision Course.

Using the opening Chorus from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, I have crafted this little peak into that cruel Fate that opposes Zuko, in his history, his family, his quest, and his own character, and how he still stands against it.
The Lyrics are reproduced in English below. I tried to match the clips to what the Chorus is actually singing. Thus, whatever is in between each fade in/out, matches with one of the following lines.
