happyzuko made like the first 55 seconds in like August of '08 or something like that. I got bored the other day and asked her permission to finish it, being the nice person she is, she allowed me to finish it. I know the... whatever amount I do mainly uses VKG clips, but there's a reason for that. I don't remember the reason right now, yeah, I do have a short memory...

Be amazed that I actually made a KanamexYuuki vid! So, if you saw my VK Couple Themes vid BEFORE the sound got deleted, you'll know I just made a full more...vid with the song I chose for KanamexYuuki's theme. About the first 55 seconds is from that vid. Yeah, I didn't feel like re-making that part. After it was all rendered, I realized I used 2 clips twice. I didn't feel like going back and changing it mainly because I couldn't think of 2 better clips to use, heh.

I heard some of this song in Speech class on 5/18/09. One of my classmates made a short vid of actual footage from the Columbine cafeteria on April 20th, more...1999. The footage she used with this song made it a powerful visual for her topic. With all of that, I just fell in love with the song, so I googled the lyrics and read them. Then I listened to the full song on youtube.
I really feel that it fits Rido when he killed Haruka, comes to Cross Academy as Shiki and later regains his own body then murders a lot of characters we only see for a few seconds. All of that just for power and to get to Yuuki. This is the first vid in awhile that I actually decided NOT to cut the song down due to instrumental beginnings/endings.

Okay, so, I looked up the song meaning and it said that the song is about something that kills. I now more certain that this song fits Rido and all the lives he's messed up, even killing and attempting to kill others in that process.

I know the video has some glitches, but Vegas was PMSing -.- Anyways... LadyZutara came up with this idea awhile ago actually and then she showed me the scene that used this song. She drew a picture while I made the video. This song really fits with how season 2 ended and how the manga currently is.
In the anime, Yuuki leaves Zero because they're too different and goes to Kaname, basically the same with the manga. In the manga, Zero actually pointed a gun at Yuuki with the intent to kill her, but Kaname stepped in, and he gave Zero and Yuuki a chance to say goodbye, then Yuuki left with Kaname. Deep down, Zero want(s/ed) Yuuki to stay with him, but knows she can't stay. That's how I view Vampire Knight and Phantom the Opera being similiar.

LadyZutara's idea, like usual these days. Special thanks to LadyZutara for mixing the 2 versions of this song together and adding most of when Zero says more..."Yuuki!" and when Yuuki says "Zero!" I added the rest of the audio from the show and I know it's hard to hear at some parts and the music changes in volume a few times but that's because the first half was really quiet. Anyways... I decided to write a little bit of a story about it...
Story: Zero wonders why he can't block the pain about losing Yuuki because he knows he'll have to kill her. He wonders why he never told her his feelings when she was still human. Zero thinks back to the day Yuuki left and feels that he died that day. Zero also feels his heart slowly shattering because he knows she will never love him like he loves her. Yuuki knows she'll have to keep running away from Zero. She won't allow Zero to kill her because she has feelings for him on some level and knows that if he does, he'll destroy himself in the end.
