Wad up various 3 x 3 colored papers & play with them. Leave it around the house so they can play without you. They will soon prefer that to all else.

That's just too cute! My kitties do that too. If I leave the paper towel out on the counter I can guarentee that I'm going to be picking up shreds of it for the rest of the week!

We have a bolt on the outside of the utility room door leading to the Loo as the cats just ransack the place. The only problem is you get so used to bolting the door people keep getting locked in!!!!! Hippy had to clime out the window one day.

Yep, some cats just seem to love shredding paper towel and/or toilet paper rolls. My Suzy sometimes attacks them with a vengence. My other two could care less about them. Cute vid Morf:)))
