I remember drooling over those G5's when they came out... I couldn't afford one at the time though and had to stick with my old beat up circa 1999 Windows based system as I was very poor.

I guess I'll just be happy with my 2.16 GHz 2 Core Duo MacBook more...

That monitor will work well as an additional external monitor on your new iMac when you get it. You'll be able to dump the tower to landfill, but the keyboard will work nice. :-)

With FCE, you put the viewer pane on the imac, and keep the external monitor more...

My iMac was purchases just before they put out the alum. and glass ones, but I like it quite a lot. I guess I never mentioned it, but I do love it.
