We went to the Apple store in Mission Viejo, CA last night and got to play with the new iMac. It was really neat. We are trying to convince ourselves to just buy the software for now, but the new iMac sure is tempting. I hope you get to see one soon.

Wow, you've got it bad for those Macs. You have as much chance of not buying one as the snow has of surviving the heat in death valley California during a heat wave.

Yes indeed - I have it REAL BAD! - I NARROWLY avoided buying the last iMac - I have the other two models (the blueberry and the one that looks like a flower on a stalk).

Computers don't function well in absolute zero, so I guess half the year you're SOL! more...

Jobs only meant that you order them by phone. It will take a bit to get them in the stores.

You can get a "family pack" of iLife for just $20 more, good for 5 machines.

That's a good idea - I'll get the Family Pack as I have four to put it on - G5, Mini, iBook and MacBook. I understand you need a 1.9GHz G5 minimum for this version of iLife - Phew! - my G5 is dual 2.0GHz - so I barely scraped in there
