I had a Plecostomus (sp?) in my fishtank several years ago. Had quite a build up in the tank when I got it. Thing ate for two weeks straight, tripled in size, and had a constant string of poop trailing out of it like three feet long.

Sorry to be boring an' all, but it's a Plecostomus (not sure what subspecies) and what it's doing is grazing the thin film of algae that will be covering the inside of the glass. Very useful to have in an aquarium as they keep all the surfaces clean. more...
