Jessie tore her cruciate ligament 2 days ago. I don't know how (or when) exactly as she didn't limp until yesterday morning. Anyway she is not allowed more...to do anything more than lay in her crate for 2 weeks. I ice her leg twice a day and she's on an anti-inflammatory med. Hopefully in 2 weeks we'll see improvement and won't have to do surgery. If we do end up going to surgery it'll probably cost somewhere in the area of $2000. Cross your fingers for us please! less

Stacy Pershall, a friend of mine, is making a cinema verite documentary entitled Better the Devil You Know with cinematographer Annie Waldman. Their plan more...is to teach adolescent girls in inpatient psych treatment facilities to shoot Super 8 film, and to include the girls' films with theirs. They are asking everyone they know to donate $1 to the cause. Here's all the info, including budget, resumes, etc:
