On 9/11, the US TV networks used computer generated sceneries of Manhattan. The layering techniques and softwares used for these simulations seemingly more...blended real and digital images - but the EXACT way this was done is frankly not for us to define. However, the technology certainly exists and it is naive to think this was difficult/impossible to achieve.
In "CHOPPED OUT", I compare two shots - 11 minutes apart - both of them showing a reversing helicopter in the same corner of the screen and over very much the same spot of Manhattan. Additionally, both camera shots 'catch' the chopper at the end of a wide zoom out action.
The odds of all these similarities occuring in two distinct shots, 11 min apart in time are pretty close to nil. If you still believe it may be a "coincidence", I will let you believe this and you will have 'wasted' only 4 minutes of your life.
