(This is what it looks like to be in a car while under fire....very intense! ANKARA, Aug. 10 -- An armed attack was waged on a vehicle carrying a group more...of Turkish journalists in the self-claimed independent region of South Ossetia, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Sunday.
Turkish officials were quoted as saying that journalist Recep Ozturk was wounded, while others were not injured in the attack.
Ozturk and the other journalists were taken to a hospital in Tskhinvali, said the officials.
Meanwhile, a crisis desk has been set up in the Turkish foreign ministry in regard to clashes in the region, according to the report.
South Ossetia declared independence from Georgia in the early 1990s and was governed by a secessionist government since then, although its independence has not been internationally recognized.
On Friday, Georgian troops began a military action against South Ossetia's forces in an attempt to re-establish control over the region. In response, Russian troops moved into the region to fight the Georgian forces and its warplanes also bombed the region.
Russia said the two-day conflict has killed 1,500 people and that the death toll is expected to rise less

We take over the Republican party and go as far as we personally can to push resolutions to WAKE PEOPLE UP and try to stop this sh!t and get more...BushCheney and their lot impeached and punished. Whether it works or not, we will at least have gone as far as we were humanly able. We have to fight, with or without Ron Paul as president. He's a great figurehead for a revolution, but it can't stop there. He's said so himself. Fight and prepare ourselves for the hard times ahead.
In the end, we'll just have to forget about the stubborn people who won't let go of their fake worldview. Too bad for those arrogant blind people who said Ron Paul was a kook and who "voted their conscience" by voting for Barack/Hillary (as if either of them could REALLY provide universal Health Care for free especially during an economic crisis); those people who refuse to see that the official story they believe about the gov is a lie, and that there are concentration camps out there with their names on them. The rest of us will fight and do what we can to preserve those we love and change the world.
Some people are feeling let down by Ron Paul as though it's his fault that there's been voter fraud and media smears, that is, when they haven't blotted him out completely. The point is, people are waking up, but waking up isn't enough. Get out there and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT; anything you can!
