 | | "Evolution Martial Arts" | Our art is a hybrid system that is a blend of multiple styles of Karate, as well as WTF Tae-kwon-Do, and Kickboxing. Our system incorporates a very technical and unique method of stand-up fighting along with the basics of ground fighting and submission grappling. We teach a very effective and well rounded curriculum that will push you to the limits, turn you into an effective competitor in the ring, and provide you the skills and confidence needed to stay safe in the real world. Simply put, we kept what works from each style, and threw away what didn't. In doing so we created something entirely new, yet firmly planted in its traditional roots.
Martial Arts literally translates to, "The arts of war". Lots of schools and gyms tend to focus on one or the other, martial or art....
We focus on both.
We are very similar to the other mixed martial arts styles of today, but we left the traditional aspects of the old arts intact. To us its not just about being an effective fighter in the ring and on the street, it is also about being a martial artist. We use a modern, hands on approach in our training that prepares students for competitions and real life situations, but we maintain a traditional belt ranking system, teach traditional Tae-Kwon-Do forms, and make use of many traditional training methods so that you get the best of martial and art.
