These SMIDSY's make up 53% of UK motorcycle deaths. I find I get one about one every 10 miles of riding. And I live in the wilds with hardly any traffic.

Visibility is everything, the sooner they see you, the quicker they can react. Wearing a flashy helmet and using bright colors. One second can make the difference.

True.I still say to get a car license you must take a class on motorcycle safety.There also should be stiffer fines on drivers who hit bikers.For a rider it,s an everyday thing.It,s the one that you dont see thats gonna get yah.Every friggen day.

I've been looking into getting osmium shoulder and knee pucks (about 20kg each) so that if a car pulls out, I have something really heavy on me that will pass through the car and its occupants.

So far no one is selling.
