"My Brother's Wedding" was Charles Burnett's 1st color feature film. He is now acknowledged as one of the landmark independent filmmakers in the world.

Sebastian Dehi, the Ivory Coast novelist, is in the late stages of editing "Love Doesn't Grow on Trees." This was the first film that I directed for someone else. It should be ready for exhibition sometime in 2008.

My Friend, Mr. Charles Burnett, is showing 3 of his films at the Armand Hammer Museum on Saturday, October 27, 2007 in Los Angeles. I was his Production Manager, Film Editor and I played a cameo role in "My Brother's Wedding." We began the film in 1983 and finished in 1985. In 2007, Mr. Burnett re-edited the movie and added a 2nd director. I'll be there at the screening at the Billy Wilder Theater, located in the courtyard of the Armand Hammer Museum. The address is 10899 Wilshire Blvd. The nearest   more...cross street is Westwood Blvd. The film shows at 7:30 pm. To get tickets, one should get there around 6:30 pm.

Mr. Burnett's most recent feature film: "Namibia: A Struggle for Liberation" will be the featured movie for the Pan African Film Festival in February of 2008 in Los Angeles. Danny Glover and Carl Lumbly star in this vehicle about the life of Sam Nujoma, the first President of Namibia. The film is about S.W.A.P.O., the Southwest People's Liberation Organization in the 1960's

Segment # 4 of "HUM" my mini digital feature film is now on the LiveVideo channel. I plan to upload Segment # 5 of "HUM" on October 1, 2, of 2007. If I don't meet those dates, they will be shown on October 6, 7, of 2007. I will continue to shoot additional segments throughout the Fall of 2009.

I'll try to upload the additional segments around August 21, 27, 28, September 8, 10, 11 and 17th of 2007 prior to having the "HUM" world premiere that will take place simultaneously on the LiveVideo and Google YouTube network and MySpace
