 | The name's Jaime. Female, seventeen years old, and I absolutely love tinkering around with the computer. I use Sony Vegas 7.0 for all my videos.
I base my work solely around Avatar: The Last Airbender for two reasons: 1) because timing works perfectly with this show, and 2) I have the episodes on my computer a.k.a. all the footage needed to make a video. It works out like that.
My dream is to get into a Digital Media/Film college, hopefully either USC or Dodge College at Chapman University. Which means I need to get started on my applications soon...*dies*
And that's it for now. Enjoy what little I have posted so far~

 | | | Kataang Finale Theme (Part 1) - Piano 00:46 So I was searching Youtube today, hoping to find the commentary for the Avatar finale, when I suddenly had the random urge to try and play the Kataang more...theme from the final scene of the series. I’ve wanted to figure out the chords and stuff ever since the finale aired, but for some reason I never had the motivation to do it until now.
Anyways, this is what I got about an hour or so later, after listening very intently to the song over and over again. I tried to make it sound as close to the actual theme as possible. The background strings were prerecorded.
Also, I don’t take piano classes or anything, so if my finger positions are wrong, that’s the reason why. I did write out some sheet music…if you could call it that, I guess. It’s more like my own style of composing. I basically wrote out the letters instead of actual notes (since I can’t read bass clef that well), and there’s no staff or measures…it’s kind of written on regular line paper. ^__^; If you know how the song goes, then it shouldn’t be too hard to understand. Let me know if you’d like a copy and I’ll be happy to send it to you. :)
I’m not sure if I’ll be doing the second part of the theme…it’s a bit hard to hear all of the chords, but I’ll see what I can do.
Rates and comments are appreciated!

| | Miss Independent - A Toph/Katara Tribute 02:32 Finally finished~
Sorry this took so long to do. School is seriously trying to kick my butt at the moment. It really, really sucks. I think my academic more...life may actually be in jeopardy now…so yes, feedback on this is definitely appreciated. :)
I heard this song on the radio a while back, and the video sort of just made itself after that. The beats were perfect, and the lyrics almost matched up just right...and then, of course, you've got me going crazy with effects, and BAM - you've got one fanvideo ready-to-go. Avatar works wonders on stress, let me tell you.
And...that's that. Hope you enjoy!

| | | Avatar Finale Trailer 02:08 My first attempt at some serious video editing. :3
I finally got a computer upgrade on Friday that could handle Sony Vegas, so I’ve been working on more...this practically nonstop since then. I’ve wanted to make a video for months – the agitation built up and exploded into this. :D
I’m 98% happy with this video. I wanted swooshes and booms for the text, but I just couldn’t find the right instrumentals to fit the song. Other than that, I’m really proud of it. Nothing can express the awesome epicness of Avatar, but despite that, it was sure as heck a blast to make this.
It starts off a little slow, but trust me, it gets better. Comments and critique are appreciated - I worked extremely hard on this, so it'd be awesome if I got some feedback. :)

Also, a very special thanks to both ravenhpltc and Shockerz. This video is practically dedicated to them. Not only were their videos a major inspiration to me, but they actually took the time to talk to me and help me out with understand Sony Vegas. Also, thanks to raven for the Audiomachine suggestion. Their songs really are awesome. :3
