Consciousness Awakening....
I don't know why....but I feel compelled to continue with this...call it what u will....intuition...instinct...but more...this idea is constantly spinning in my head. It's very weird...but I remember thinking these same thoughts back when Art did his experiment way back when. I was so riveted during this time. I literally couldn't wait to listen to Mr. Bell's show every night...it was way better then cable....(hehe)!
I recall wondering why this hadn't been done or thought of before & why the 'powers that be' hadn't put there monies & resources into a venture that held such extraordinary potential...I was really quite naive then...we've never had any real money, nor have we been truly exposed to the corruption of it all, always been poor....& for this I feel fortunate. Never really bothered me much. In the years that Marcie & I were homeless...we didn't really analyze it then, but we were always taken care of...people, things...necessities came to us....as they were needed. I wish I would've been more in tune with the spirit back in those days, I would've been more relaxed...for I was constantly in a state of panic and anxiety.
anyways....this 'consciousness' project is a really delicate matter and we musn't allow things to become distorted....or lost in hype and money. I think that we need to become accustomed to this idea...the idea of thinking or being as one. Like everything else this takes getting used to...it takes practice. With large groups it becomes extremely evident of personalities that are louder then others...ego's are incredibly fragile & unpredictable & possibly dangerous. We have to account for this....before we begin. This is why I think we need to keep on trying...until we are comfortable with the idea & more importantly comfortable with each other in what we're trying to accomplish, again we have to get used to thinking of ourselves as one.
When I close my eyes....I think about a flock of birds that can change direction instantly....as one. Thousands of birds that can make a complete change of direction...as one. One mind. One heart. One Love....
I am positive that as long as everyone involved has their hearts in the right place that this could really grow....quickly. We could enter into this online as individuals or groups....small or large...depending on where the comfort zone is with an individual....so we can eventually be able to develop this intuitive ability to think and be as one.
To be honest, I don't want to be the one to lead this experiment. I believe for this to work we'll need to trade off on who will 'moderate' or host certain 'sessions'... Just to be sure & positive, I think it would be wise to prevent any one individual to be in control of things, for very long anyways.....if this happens it will most assuredly fail.
I'm doing this, because, in my mind, it is the most important endeavor of our time. We need to come together spiritually...without a care for race color or creed....or money. Staying as far as we possibly can from any organized religious beliefs...
We are one...and until we can start thinking about ourselves in this capacity....we'll never get past the differences that have held us back for the ages.

What would be the focus? - perhaps prayer lists? - those who are sick? - without a doubt we should always try to envision a world of peace. But eventually we could attempt to become more specific...specific regions - focus for specific leaders -............ This is always about bringing light.....we can never feed the darkness.
The response to this idea in recent attempts has shown great promise...but as I stated in the video.... Most people won't think of such things as necessities...that is until their very lives are effected by the chaos that our future promises....
If anyone feels inspired....then it's important that you act on that impulse....

More then ever I believe that we are beginning to witness a real change in consciousness. I mean lets face it...we better get it together real quick man. If the current trend continues on...then we're doomed. You know it...& I know it, but it seems like it's such an impossibility to fight against the system. The status quo of the 'have's' and the 'have nots' is firmly imprinted upon our society. But if we open our minds and hearts, just a little bit...help could be coming to us from a celestial source. Mother Earth is very much alive...she is a 'living being'... & we are all about to go through some heavy changes. We are all made up of the same stardust man...why should you & I be any different from the moon, stars & the sun? __________
There are many levels of 'freedom' just has there are many levels of 'slavery'....it all ties together in the higher consciousness or so I believe. (I mean I suppose if you don't believe that there's some kind of 'higher consciousness' then you'll be moving on off this video anyways). It could be said that the ultimate 'freedom' is the freedom of the mind or consciousness. To break through the constraints of the physical. To become like spirit. To no longer adhere to the laws of gravity. To no longer be ruled by the ego.
When are thoughts become 'enslaved' eventually are bodies or physical self becomes slaves to those thoughts...and the desires that come with those of the physical world. Are we moving towards a 'higher consciousness'...? I hope so....

Art Bell (Coast to Coast am) did some experiments a few years back with 'mass consciousness'. Now if you know who Art Bell is then u know that Coast to Coast has a huge listener base, some 14 million. So one night he conducted an experiment by asking everyone listening to concentrate or pray or whatever at the same time. Everyone was silent for like 2 minutes...the idea was to focus on making rain in the southern US where there had been a tremendous drought....the results were unnerving. It rained & rained....eventually causing mass flooding. We do it everyday for no better reason but to chat and kill time. So imagine if we all connected together with the idea that we could change the world. You've heard that we have never unlocked the potential of the human brain. That we are really only utilizing less then 10% of what it can do. In fact we really have no idea of what were capable of. This unknown potential couldn't be limited to just the physical. Telekinesis & Psychokinesis have always been a part of our psyche. Consciousness is truly the unknown frontier!!!....But the real question is "What do u think"??? "Do you think that we can change physical reality through 'consciousness"???. The end of the year is nigh...tis hard to fathom. It is for me anyways. I've been plucking the strings of 'Freedom' for a very long time now. Actually more...I've always written songs that have been about 'knocking down walls' in the political arena. There's evidence of this even here on U2b with the song "Where did everybody go" which is a relic from my distant past. I'm thankful that someone had saved that video. I had lost it long ago. It seemed like it might have meant something to someone as it gathered dust in a box hidden somewhere in the basement of a Seattle house.
Someone asked me what I would be doing if I wasn't writing songs about 'corruption' or 'conpspriacy', protest etc... and I was really kind a dumbfounded for a minute. I mean, I've never even thought about it. I usually have an answer for everything. But as I sat thinking about something clever to say I realized that was no clever answer to be given. No profound reason.
...Ah, but then again...I thought about the 'blues'. Thank god for the blues. It's my background. It's my screensaver... It's my bible. I might be 'losing my religion' but I'm not going to lose 'the blues'. The older I get...the more I know that I 'have' to sing the blues. It's simple. U know, the opposite of complicated...which is something that I tend to do all of the time....over-complicate things. I think America is learning how to sing the blues...once again. Don't you?

The soldiers of the Revolution must also 'keep things simple'. Ron Paul is still relatively unknown. Folks around me everywhere, especially when I perform are still coming up 2 me and asking "Who's that guy you're singing about again?..." and for the thousandth time I say, "U KNOW...RON PAUL...HE'S RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT"...! and continue on with the story...once again! "Oh that's strange, I haven't heard about him or seen him on the news" they say. "Imagine that" I think to myself.
So....if Dr Ron Paul is 'forced' to step down from running as the 'Republican Candidate' in this presidential race...well then, have faith...the show is far from over. He is raising more then just eyebrows with the $$$$$$$$ and growing support. We must continue on, just has we've been doing from the beginning. We've accomplished so much, but yet, we haven't even skimmed the surface. Regardless of the ups and downs that will come with a presidential race...I've begun to see something that I never thought would see....and that is 'America beginning to awaken...!

The song was conceived this morning...it's a one take slop fest....but hey...it's 'christmas'
I wrote it directly after opening an email from some fucker who shined some hate towards me, cause I'm a worthless hippie, and, well, he don't like me...and lots of other real flattering stuff.
As much as l'd like to say that the inspiration to write this came from that warm and fuzzy feeling that x-mas extends to all 'k-mart shoppers'...I wasn't as much divinely inspired as 'divinely pissed off'.
It's the endless abuse and lies that are being aimed at Ron Paul and anyone who endorses Ron Paul and 'FREEDOM'...anyone who go's against the grain is being labeled a domestic terrorist.
This is some serious shit going down right now, don't think twice. For the higher ups and their minions, they will continue to climb into the pit of lies and deceit to protect the good f*&^%& they've been giving us since the crusades.
If they could have there way...the earth would be flat again....cause they said so!
...still...it is Christmas. I'll drop the 'bah-humbug' routine!!!

At the end of each day, as I lay myself down to sleep. I am constantly made aware that the world in which we've always known and trusted...is coming to more...an untimely end. I am no longer able to forget that which is in front of me...every which way that I turn. There is now a daily occurrence of police violence...the lies of the agenda in Iraq, the spread of unprovoked war into Iran. There is fear everywhere....fear of an unknown assailant who's looming above all of us...it's threatening us with financial ruin...people's mortgages are in jeopardy. Thousands of Americans are losing jobs to perpetrators of slave labor such as China and other fascist countries. There is fear of terrorism...of an imminent attack here in the homeland. Leaders are warning us over and over. I see it everywhere....it's in the grocery stores...it's on the highways, church's schools... Fear of course itself is an effective means of terrorism and control. Everything that we need to survive in this world is being threatened....our foods are poisoned by bio-terrorism...our cattle, fowl and pork meats are being manipulated and tortured to squeeze out the largest possible profits. Our water reservoirs are being slowly poisoned with chemicals. We are now feeling the effects of global warming through a massive carbon tax. The toys we buy for our children are poisoned with led paint, flu vaccines now contain high counts of mercury. The media is owned and run by the very same individuals who are imposing these atrocities upon the people, so of course journalism has become a circus. We are being spied on with the latest satellite technology, and they are writing there own laws as they go along to fit their agenda. President Bush is just a mere puppet. The real deal is going down in an environment of utmost secrecy manipulated by a group of individuals that cannot be touched. Many know but few speak about it!

It is foolish to ever underestimate the power of money and what it can do to anyone, given the opportunity. In the highest circle of wealth and power how do you think men get to such positions. If you have governments and senator's, lawmakers in your pockets...you could easily be manipulating both sides...against each other!!! I don't know why some of us think that this is an impossibility or "Why would anybody want to do such a thing?" I'll tell you why.....Absolute Power!!! Please read your history, the US has managed a democracy for over 200yrs. In the bigger scope of history...this is the exception....not the rule. Our Founding Fathers fought and died for our Freedom....and we are handing this precious freedom back without thinking....but
still "I've seen all good people" The truth is a light that shines forever bright!...and in the face of adversity men and woman show much strength and courage. I never really understood the quote: "Give me liberty of give me death" until now...
