This video was awesome, Caveman. I really enjoyed it. I have a small solid fuel stove in my home that I light at weekends. I sometimes burn logs on it but mostly just coal mixed with coke. I am one of the last few houses in my town that still has a

real fire. I talk a little about my stove and house heating in this video.

I've always been somewhat of a pyro, so it's really not a chore for me, as some might think it would be. I'm sure you can relate.

Loved it Cavey.
It brought back memories to me when I used to have a wood burner which controlled the central heating. I was a lot smaller than yours, but what I do rememer is, the house was waay too small and We had to have the windows open in the middle

That's another reason that I let the house get down to 55-60 degrees before I stoke up a fire ;-)

You're welcome, the best parts about the woodroom, is how close it is to the furnace, and that it continues to dry out the wood.

Glad you enjoyed it, many people have never been exposed to the way it used to be done, so I figured it might be an interesting topic for a vid.

Well, I don't know how cold it is outside right now, there is snow on the ground, but I just looked and it's 70 degrees.
Although the house is old, it is well insulated, and has relatively new windows. My guess is that they are about 15 years old, and
