| Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at 8:37 PM | | What a great Christmas. My wife and I so enjoyed the Kids' visit. My son is off to Texas to visit close college friends (now husband and wife) and to spend New Years with them. My daughter will go with us to Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde, Arizona for New Years, then she will join my son in Las Vegas for the big annual electronics show. Bob | |
| Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 8:52 AM | | Next weekend, my daughter and son will be coming home for the holidays. We are looking forward to their visits and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year. Bob | |
| Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 6:28 PM | | Thanksgiving was great! Both adult children took time out of their busy lives to spend it with us. Then my son went off to Idaho to a wedding of his college roommate and my daughter went back to Toluca Lake to keep forging ahead on her acting career. My group at the coffee shop (we're called the "Liars Club"), meets every morning at Safeway, Sedona, Az. and we discuss the world events. I am going to bring up the "Maybe China is Right" letter by Howard W. French. Not to late in my old age to more...become a revolutionary. :-) less | |
| Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 10:24 PM | | Back home in Sedona, hence 86336, and will be spending most of the day (Friday, Nov. 2) with a group of 40+ mentally handicapped kids from the county schools at the Rainbow Trout Farm. Each kid will be able to catch a trout and the farm owners will clean and donate the trout to our luncheon. We will cook and serve the trout with other salad items, etc. The kids will be assisted by the local Key Club kids from the local Sedona Schools. A 5th annual Kiwanis Club of Sedona/Bell Rock event. | |
| Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 12:01 PM | | Vietnam Veteran and ex-airline captain, I have raised a great family, still married to the same woman, and living in one of the most beautiful places in the world. . Hard work, determination, strong woman, good genes, great kids, good friends, and health are just a few of my assets. Politically conservative snd patriotic - I still believe in the priniciples that I pledged my life for, while in the Army, yet liberal when it comes to education (prefer home-schooling). I believe everyone should more...take responsibility for their actions and decisions in life. less | |
