It's March and our schedules here at home are getting fuller and fuller, due to the wonderful weather. We just came back from a Legislative Conference at our California State Capitol. We attend each year representing Employees of San Luis Obispo County as well as others regarding Budget cuts and changes that affect the insurance and or retirements and wages. This affects us all, private or county   more...alike.

Vern's and My anniversary is on St. Patrick's Day and due to the fact that we will be busy then, we opted to go to Bakersfield, CA to meet with two Brothers and their wives this weekend (Mar 7-8+9).

Vern's birthday is on the 28th of this month as well, so we will do something special for that. Otherwise it's work, work, work. Like most people we know. :) Hope you have a wonderful month!

With a little bit of Irish and Scottish in me along with the English from my Father's side. I find myself getting Green with feelings of desire for a Green Brew and Mulligan Stew. :) Happy St. Patrick's Day. My husband and I will be gone the next few weekends in observance of our anniversary and also in order to fight changes to our healthcare system and wage that would put our children in less of a blessed position in the future, and would not be a blessing to us today.

I like the saying, one bird in the hand is better than two in the bush. So, at the political level, we fight for what's right with our local employees union. My husband is the president of that union, so we must fight for what's right.

I have no idea why I thought when LD closed that LV would close also. I appreciate several people in my connections the most for showing their undying love to me. WetSensations, 1WhiteCrow and CYBRISTO!!! You are the greatest connections a WhiteBird could have and this announcement is to show my thanks, love and dedication to you. I had to leave for awhile for many reasons as I have a lot on my plate in the World, and foolishly bought into trying other things for awhile, only to come back to   more...you with my tail between my legs. I had an issue yesterday at a site I'd tried to visit amongst all the other sends and found a whole lot of people at the site that came from the LD days. I really have a problem with negative put downs, especially when it's to a Veteran, Reverend, or close friend like the people above. People whom treat me better than I treat myself.

Wet, I'm so glad you didn't take my advice to connect at the place I'd gone to. I just started getting going after being there signed up for awhile, yet not able to get to my computer enough to put my feelers out. My heart is in grief at the attitudes of some so called young folks at that site and I was advised not to upload anything mature there by a second person I'd referred besides you, Wet. I wanted to follow our Reverend Barbara as she's the one whom took me there. She has her own place there and I wanted to keep up with what was going on in her life, was how it all started. I've since Canned It!!! Never to go there again, and that's ok, I can still keep up communications due to our regular emails anyway. I'm thankful to God today that there are plenty of fish in the sea. I feel safe here and will show you now, what I have been up to most recently. A turtle release. This will be my upload today as it still warms my heart when I can nurture back to stealth health any creature and release them back to their own homes, yet I live in the city now for three years. I'm still on God's missions in the world, and not my own like my fellow birds of a feather. It's a Beautiful Day and I live in the moment. I have a few others sweet friends here too many to mention all actually, and they know whom they are as they have been added to my connections and I'm going to pay more attention to those which I already have.

It's Christmas Time in the City... as we attend many local events. Victorian Walk down a street where Ebenezer Scrooge does a live show in one home, others sing and bands play at each seperate house there is a scene and lights down a street that was closed off to traffic as the whole route was covered by foot traffics of people with children viewing the sights one night. Prior a parade that closed all of Spring Street and a tree lighting in the downtown park and Christmas Carols being sung while   more...hot chocolate and cookies are handed out at all events. Mr.&Mrs Claus are seen at the Christmas Big Band Dance and all other events locally. (A busy guy and gal)
Last night we attended a Melodrama in Oceano, CA which was FAB! Dickens Carolers, Tiny Tim's Story and much more.
Why travel, when you can find so much fun at home? We are thankful for our local community and all of the events that are right here at home. Thanks to our Troops for their support and all of our Law Enforcement and Fire Departments for the Peace & Safety during the holidays. Merry Christmas to all! Hope your Season is Bright! WBMF  less

November; a month of Thanks. I'd like to start my Thanksgiving to the one whom came to help us out these last two months. My son Jamie, age 36, whom wanted to do magic here in my husbands and my home and did a wonderful job of working in our back yard and garage. He got the Porsche running and worked on my old car as well. I'm thankful that he shared his cooking skills and pleased Vern sooo much! He also helped clean inside and organized a tremendous amount of things here, making my life more   more...manageable.

Second, I am thankful to God for being here through thick and thin and everything in between. I'd like to thank a female friend, my husband and son for teaching me that suffering is part of the end times. For reminding me that the Bible is the truest book I've ever read and that the end times are a reality, as is the word. That even if I have friends and family, That they may suffer greatly for me being "myself". Meaning that I am that which I have learned and evolved to be in my own belief system. I'm thankful to have my faults being brought to my attention so I can try to work on them and do my best to be a better person upon this knowledge. I pray that I won't be judged anymore by my friends, family as being untrue to doing the will of God. I pray for the truth and deliverance from evil. More than anything else I pray for our Troops, Veterans, Special Needs, and that God's will be done in my life, and not my own. I pray for healing and peace in the family as well as in the world.
