Description:  this is how i repaired my front fairing. i need some help though, if you know how to blend the 2 different coats drop me a comment plz =)

thanks man...i might buy one and you know..paint up the town...(shifty eyes) lol... but i was thinking of repaint my front fender and see how it looks...a small chip on it. otherwise my Hurricane = hurricane street fighter.

You can just wet sand (color sand) the area you painted to get the roughness out. Do a search on the subject. You should be able to find some good info on how to do it. It's pretty easy, but takes time and some attention to detail.

If you do it properly and then buff it out it should have a nice shine.

so the wet sand will not cause the paint to become milky in color?

Nice repair job.

Now when you say blend do you mean that the two colors are slightly different or is it just the feeling of the two paints? Cause one trick I've used before would be waxing the spot but there has got to be another way to blend it.

ah, ok. Ya that makes sense. When I spray painted my computer I had the same problem. But like what seekinsoul said multiple coats with sanding in between should make it come out shiny new. Remember to wax/buff it out at the end when dry.

the color matches perfectly. the problem is that if i tape it to get rid of the over spray then their is a sharp line where the new coat is substantially higher than the old one. since i did not tape it their is lots of over spray "mist" causing the   more...
