| Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 5:37 PM | | So, according to LiveVideo's lists...if you don't count Jasper23 due to his current absence...I'm the third most highly subscribed motorcycle vlogger here. Mordeth and 88Hawaii have me beat. How fucking cool is that? | |
| Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 4:07 AM | | Some things have come to my attention recently that I will not be mentioning directly, not here atleast. I have been doing some thinking over the last few hours, dwelling if you will, upon the meaning of life and whether or not we take it for granted. I think we do, those of us who are more or less healthy. Rarely do we stop and think about what we're doing to ourselves, yet when we hear of someone falling ill, and probably dieing, we give them our best regards, or we pray, we do whatever we can more...to make them feel a little better while we do whatever it takes to make ourselves feel better as well. Sometimes we sit down with a bowl of ice cream, sometimes we sit down and watch a funny movie, sometimes we just sit. What we should do is re-examine ourselves, and learn from what we see. How can we actually help the situation? Truth is only you know that answer, and only you can do something about it. Someone once said to me 'Goodnight, sweet knight, you just can't save them all.' I agree, but can we save ourselves? less | |

 | | | Walkaround of the VFR 03:43 Everyone's asking for it, so here it is. I've decided the black gunk is from the chain, guess there's not much I can do about it. No comments on the hair, more...as you'll see I was wearing all the gear and it was 100 degrees out. So I was sweating. less Added: 3 days ago Views: 238 Category: Video Blogs |
| | The New Ride 04:09 Try not to drool on her too much. The photo at the end is there so you'll know what I've decided to call her. Added: 5 days ago Views: 493 Category: Music |
| | | | | | Tales from the airport 06:26 Yeah, this one was a bit random. But it's got some good information in it that my fellow history/military nuts will love. It was a Lockheed P-80 Shooting more...Star, btw. The first jet aircraft put into service by the Army air services. less Added: Jul 7, 08 Views: 125 Category: Video Blogs |
| | Ranting, Raving, and generally being pissed off. 06:09 Yes, I know there are exceptions to the rule. Don't bother telling me you're one of them. :P I haven't posted a video of me going off the deep end in more...a while, though I've done it on camera a handful of times. After filming this, I thought about trashing it as I have the others, but I decided against it in the end. Some people enjoy hearing me go off so much they try to goad me into it. So enjoy. less Added: Jul 4, 08 Views: 240 Category: Video Blogs |
| | | Big News 03:02 Words alone cannot describe, or explain this one. So just bear with me for a few minutes. :) Added: Jun 30, 08 Views: 321 Category: Video Blogs |
| | Emergency Stops 07:18 Learned something new about my bike in this one. If this doesn't demonstrate pretty clearly how useful the rear brake is, well, you're just not paying more...attention. less Added: Jun 27, 08 Views: 643 Category: Video Blogs |
| | | Slow Speed Circles 08:18 Some people have asked, and so I abide. This is what it looks like from my perspective when I do them, as well as some discussion of how to do them, what more...to do and what not to do. Keeping a big bike balanced in a 10ft diameter circle at 3-5mph is a pain in the @$$. So now you should know what to do and how to do it. Edit: When I speak of throttling out of the turns, accelerating itself also acts to straighten the bike out, which aids ALOT on getting that 600 pound beast to stand back up. less Added: Jun 25, 08 Views: 265 Category: Video Blogs |
| | Slow Speed Practicing 04:32 Decided to go out and spend a few minutes messing around in a parking lot. Did a few full-lock low speed revolutions around a streetlight, and a few emergency more...stops. The first two were done from approx. 35mph, the first without the rear brake, the second with. The second stop was approximately 20 feet shorter than the first. The third was done from almost 55mph. There's a surprise fuckup in there too. less Added: Jun 23, 08 Views: 272 Category: Extreme |
