Jason gives a quick overview and then talks with record label honcho Fred Croshal about current Maverick artists such as Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Prodigy and The Deftones as well as other upcoming projects such as the soundtrack to the new Austin Powers movie “Goldmember”. Check the shots on the walls! After that Jason and the X Corps girls are back in Irvine California at the Invert Carnival where insane Moto X pro’s from the “Metal Mulisha” are going huge! Then at the half pipe a BMX rider does a huge “Superman” and sexy X Corps host Roslyn Bradle gets mobbed by autograph seekers. Go Roz baby! Jason and Roz then preview the new Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 video game. Pretty cool game action footage here from Activision – the makers of the game – cut to music from the game soundtrack featuring the bands “Sum 41”, “Pennywise”, “Papa Roach”, ”Soul Hooligan”, “Drowning Pool”, “Ozomatli” and others to keep things rolling hard! Video clips, sound bytes and advise from Tony Hawk who also talks about PAIN and what the word means to him. Then more invert action with Jason talking to pro skater Scott Taylor from Activision about Tony and the new skate game. Jason intro’s the new song and video “Cadillac” from the band “Mest”. It’s all about the music, cars and girls on the beach in this fun video. After the break Jason and Roslyn open an extreme water ski segment called “The Waters Edge” produced by The Gary Paul Agency and shot on 35mm film during a trans U.S. tour. See wild bare foot ski jumping, wake and knee boarding, water hand stands, stilt skiing, boom ski wars and an Elvis museum tour all cut to music from the “Outcast” song “Bombs over Baghdad”. Timely. After that X Corps hosts Bob Woodard and Eric “Big Air” Ducharme demo some new products – The “Hammerhead” skateboard and the “Blade Z XTR” electric scooter, products just now hitting the streets. Great music by “Drowning Pool” here too. After the break Jason and Fred Croshal are back at Maverick Records for a “Maverick Minute” previewing the new song and video from Marilyn Manson “Tainted Love”. See tour schedules for other Maverick bands here too. After that in the “Coming Soon” segment of the show are scenes from the new mountain board video “Flirt With Dirt” and the new “Flowlab” skateboard. Very cool. Xcorps on camera reporter Jason Lazo opens from the beach at San Clemente Ca less than 2 hours drive from the Big Bear ski resort. Jason thros to the X Guru Eric Ducharme who is hanging with snowbike conversion kit inventor Matt Hanson who demonstrates how to convert any bike into a snowbike! If you can ride a bicycle you can handle the black diamonds as demonstrated by BMX rider Brian Bubba Smith who starts things off with a Rodeo Can and a smooth long Tail whip! Sweet!
Next the X cams jump a few mountains north to Mountain High Resort where team rider Steve Caprio first time demos another product introduced on Xcorps Snowmadz mini snowboards for the feet! Check out Steves hilarious 1st run down the mountain pumped by SubNoiZe band (hed)p.e. doing Born To Ride!
Then its back to Bear Mountain with Bubba and the Gang of 15 on the edge of control! Great snowbike action shots here with sun and snow and new music-our specialty on XC! Stay tuned as Bubba drops some sound bytes on what he thinks of his ride with skis and the next bike he plans to convert!
After the break the show returns to the beach where Jason is talking to beach blond So Cal surfer Jennifer Hunter about her website BOB-an acronym for Bitches on Boards-an action sports online social site for anyone who rides a board- Surf Skate or Skim! Fun shots of chicks ripping here!

Xcorps Action Sports Show #45.)"SKATEPIPE"-seg2- The Xcorps HD shoot crew led by on host Jason Lazo rolled into the small southern California town of more...Upland to meet pool skate legend Steve Alba AKA Salba at the Pipeline skate park- home and roots to some of the best Vert skaters on the planet- for the next episode of Xcorps to be called SKATEPIPE.
This next XC show will feature Steve Alba ripping the Upland Pipe on his board along with many other talented locals catching massive air off the 20-foot tall 360-degree concrete tube. The Pipe is part of 10,000 sq. foot Skate Park, which opened to the public in 2002 and was designed by Steve Alba and California Skate parks Purkiss Rose.
One of the coolest skate zones we have shot, the Upland park is a holy zone modeled after the original Upland skate park of the 1970s-which was modeled after the original Baldy Flood Control Pipe- and contains all aspects of bank/vert skating starting with a mini-ramp take off ledge rolling into a phat metal coped half-pipe leading into a 20 foot full-pipe and ending in a deep swimming pool size vert bowl. YiKes!
Its a smooth fast speed zone and its not for beginners! Skate wheels sing there like banshee devil dogs and bone crunching freefalls happen easy! Xcorps cams captured some great action including shots from a POV cam attached to Salbas helmet. The Xcorps shoot crew-included network Emmy winner Dave Alvarez and producer Sundarajan also snagging HD shot action.
Xcorps host Jason Lazo talked with Steve Alba who lives in Upland about the killer park he helped design and his past and present career in the world of skateboarding. Jason also spoke to other skaters including a hot chick looping the tube and some ripper groms going full overhead! What will they morph into!??
Also in this episode is cool video footage of Steve Alba jamming with his band in a local So Cal club. Nice custom soundtrack to the action from Steve. Great new music videos from RIVE promotions and Suburban Noize Records rolls the action in this special Xcorps show.
Rounding out the shots in this episode will be some never before televised 16mm B&W film footage shot at a Pocatello Idaho Skatepark in 1980 by XC producer Stu Edmondson. Who knew they were skating in Idaho back then never mind a skate park!

Jason opens the show from scenic Cardiff Reef California where a group of local watermen are on the beach talking about their recent ocean race paddling from the island of Catalina to the So California coastal town of Manhattan Beach a distance of 32 miles! Jason talks to top seated arm paddlers Tim Fischer, Brian Szymanski and George Plsek about the endurance ocean journey which began back in 1928 with Tom Blake taking just under 6 hours to make the arm paddle trip.
Check out the cool scenes with heli shots over the exotic Mediterranean looking village of Avalon on Catalina Island where the paddle race began. Great POV Xcam shots here putting the viewer on board with the athletes. Eddy Grants song The Struggle fits the action in this tough arm-burning historic race. Check the pod of Pilot Whales rolling the coarse!
After the break Jason and the X crew head to the North Shore of Hawaii to meet with big wave tow-in surfers Garrett McNamara and Kealii Mamala for a look at a niche end of surfing bringing on the biggest adrenalized rush! The boys from team Hawthorne are rolling their jetski and go big phat and fast for the Xcorps cameras! See them tow in to ride monster walls off the North shore at a break called Log Cabins, off Maui with the freight trains at Jaws and in Tahiti jamming the infamous teal tubes of Teahoopu.
The next segment tows in with more massive surf shots and roaring waves cut with Japanese indie band legends BORIS winding up their strings with their new video Statement riding alongside the action. Only on Xcorps! Jason talks with board masters Garrett and Kealii about the sport and recent overhead conquests. Garrett raps about how it feels to be just in front of rolling tons of water and what viewers could do to get that feeling! Kealii talks about his recent trip to California to test ride Mavericks. See the details on the guys who ride and the state of the boards now used to roll these mega waves. Insane shots as usual including the wild tow rope cam and sweet sea turtle footage under the waves! Along with the California paddle boarders Jason talks to big wave tow in surfers Garrett McNamara and Keilli Mamala in Oahus North Shore. The Xcorps shot on the beach in Cardiff Reef Ca. included here some of the 100 paddle boarders who made the epic 32 mile journey from the island of Catalina to the California mainland. Jason talked with 3 top 20-seated athletes, George Plsek, Brian Szymanski and Tim Fischer about the challenges and triumphs of the event. A good look here of the actual paddleboards used by the participants along with great video footage shot by videographer Dan Dixon on his jet ski during the race.
Paddle boarding events began with Tom Blake back in 1928 who raced a 120-pound board the 32 miles from Catalina to the mainland in just under 6 hours. In the early 1950s surfboard shapers Dale Velzy, Greg Knoll and Hobie Alter introduced a new era to the sport staging the legendary races between California city and county lifeguards. Dangerous conditions cancel the Catalina race for 20 years before Gibby Gibson and Buddy Bohn revive it with a field of 10 paddlers in 1982. Buddy and Gibby have helped keep the sport alive from 1982-2006.
Qualifying for the Catalina Classic Marathon Paddleboard Race race is NOT easy with each participant having to do at least one other grueling long distance paddle beforehand.

Chicks on 250cc dirt bikes wind it up tight on the fresh Cali track and the air show begins! Jason and Michele roll the track with the X cam crew at all the corners. XC host Jason Lazo rolls into town to check out the action along with guest host and MX GIRLS founder Michele Johnson who shows us some of her ride moves in this episode!
The girls of action sports have always been featured on Xcorps and we continue so with this fun feature show shot at a cool new So Cal track during what was called MX Girls Ride Day organized my founder Michele Johnson.
The show opens up with fast action and music from Suburban NoiZe band D.I. who return PUNK to the X show with their song Gutters of Paradise. Nice fit! Chicks on 250cc dirt bikes wind it up tight on the fresh Cali track and the air show begins! Jason and Michele roll the track with the X cam crew at all the corners. Helmet cam POV for the real feel along with the trademark Xcam Superfish lens pull in all the moves! Check out girlie riders Michele Marshall, Tricia Young and Kelly Yancey having some high reV fun rolling to tunes from Dirtball and their song Tried Trued Tested!
After the break its back to the air show at Milestone Ranch where Jason meets WMA Pro 905 Mika Cornelius who talks about the track and her Kawasaki Green Monster ride! SubNoiZe band D.I. punks up some dust here too with their song The Western Front. In thy face with thy dust! Cool bike-cam face shots of Mika here too!
Tooth and Nail records band Falling Up roll out their new Hotel Aquarium music video c/o RIVE and the MX Girl action continues. Michele talks to rider Katie McGuire about her style and the camaraderie at the event.
Next a bike hits a camera and the girls keep hucKing their bikes with Dirtball hopping out a tune called Pits-Spit all adding to the fun mix!
Jason then intros a new vid from Brooklyn band Type O Negative doing a dark and happy song- September Sun. MX Girls get their moves slow-mowed to this Goth metal ballad! Hitting the pits Michele talks with pro rider Kelly Yancey about the BIG WINDS and how they effected the ride day. Grom like rider Tatiana Falls shows off her KTMs and gets questioned next- talking about her pro rides in Texas. Only on Xcorps do you see MX Girls!
Break 4 brings back a nice off the line rabbit race start and the J man talks with red head rider Michele Marshall about her roll in the MX Ride Day. This gal knows her suspensions!
Dirtball returns the favor and the action shots roll on and out! Solid still shots here too from pro shooter Tristan Kallas who also patrolled the track. Appearing in a previous Xcorps episode MX Girl Bonnie Warch returns. Once a MX Girl- always a MX Girl!
The show closes out with yet another round of female MX action and rappy snappy Dirtball rhythms! Jason does his best to hook up with Tricia Young. See how he does! Guest host eXtraordinaire Michele Johnson sends things home and wraps it from Riverside with a promise of more sik action and music on the next Xcorps! Xcorps Action Sports Show #41.)"HAWAIIMANA"-seg1- The Xcorps goes BIG ALOHA with host Jason Lazo back in Hawaii covering a mix of cool action X fitness more...events sponsored by mega nutrition maker HAWAIIMANA producer of the HawaiiMana Challenge.
From the start the show goes BIG with wild shots of tow in surfer Garrett McNamara outrunning locomotive waves at Jaws and Teahoopu Tahiti backed by tunes from MOWER. Hang on! The scenes are mellow here too with sweet Oahu island shots of rainbow framed beaches under the waving coconut palms. So Ono!
Jason introduces team HawaiiMana training on the shore and under the water! See their unique method of building strength and lung power using just a big rock! Great UW shots of turtles and fish in their element mixed with irie tunes from reggae Electric Avenue pop master Eddy Grant.
After the break Jason goes from SCUBA to outrigger canoe and then on to the North Shore of Oahu to hang at the Hawaiimana beach crib and some surfing by team members Alisha and Davey Boy Gonsalves, Jason Miller and Oleema Miller.
Then the X cams roll down the beach to V-LAND to catch rising NSSA surf champ Carissa Moore carving and rippin! Jason meets her on the beach for a little interview. She how she gets her training and hear her fun laugh! Then it’s back to Garrett towing into another massive thunder tube followed with a smooth exit rolling tight with another Eddy Grant tune- Reparation.
Jason samples some local flavor and crosses the island again to meet with open ocean stand up paddleboard master Aaron Napoleon who leads the Xcams offshore to the turbulent Molokai Channel for a look at this emerging challenging sport! It was a challenge getting these shots in the rolling big waves as Aaron paddled his 15-foot board up and down the deep blue victory at sea swells all captured for our viewers in HD!
Everyone onboard was hanging tight as Aaron paddled the huge water edited with a fresh new music video from San Diego band My American Heart. Nice fit! Jason talks with the HawaiiMana man back at the boat. See what he says about the ride!
The next segment rolls back to the shoreline to catch the voice of Hawaii fitness man Joe Teipel body surfing Sandys beach in style! Jason talks with the waterman about HawaiiMana and the island spirit of Aloha. Cool shots of the famous Halona blowhole going off here too!
The show closes out with Jason back in SCUBA gear and a beach sunset near Diamond Head talking with HawaiiMana girl Kristin Austin doing some Yoga moves. Just another day in paradise for those who join The Xcorps!
