Well, it's been awhile since I have posted any announcements so here goes.

I had a bad day at the field on July 4th. I was practicing some tail slide and other moves. I decided to do the most impressive tail slide to date for me. I went up at least 300' and brought her straight down with the intention of pulling out around the 6'-10' mark. Unfortunately I misjudged how far out I was, I was above the trees instead of the corn field like I thought.

I did the tail slide straight into the trees. I topped a tree in the process. Unfortunately the Heli was a total loss.   more... I was able to save most of the electronics, engine and tail fins. Everything else was mangled.

I am now running my Raptor 90 SE as my main machine and no longer have a backup machine. Funds are getting really tight so there may not be another machine in my future. I will fly this and repair as necessary.  less

The 495th R/C Squadron will be holding it's 3rd Heli FunFly this year.

The official date for the Funfly looks like September 29, 2007.

We are trying to confirm a couple names to do some shows for us that weekend. Here's who we have in mind.

Team Futaba - John Glezellis for a plane demo

I have confirmed that Russ (Tiger140) will be the DJ and Jeff (Heli-J) will record the video of the event.

There will also be a Barbecue.

If you live   more...in the New England area or are willing to make the trip, I ask that you do and spread the word. We are hoping to make this better than last years event.

I have also contacted Justin Chi and Kyle Stacy to see if they can join us. Right now there is a 50% chance for Justin Chi and Kyle still needs to talk with his dad.

With the release of the Align 600N a couple weeks ago I thought I would search out a few videos of some top pilots doing DEMO flights with this machine.

I just come across a couple videos of Markus Kim flying at his home field. I am not sure who took them or where exactly this is.
