~Just letting you know this is a tear jerker ~ for me anyway. My grandfather is very sick and far away from me. My mom, my grandpa, my sister, myself... more...we are scattered through the states.... so I wanted to do something for my family in this time of sorrow... I have to say, spending a few days making this video for my grandpa allowed me to grieve, reminisce, and heal a little all at the same time. I have a new appreciation for Live Video now for this and for being able to express myself and to share with my family in the moment. Being able to give this gift to my grandpa, letting him know how much he is loved. There's been so much lost time, these photos are the only photos I have of us together, preserving the three visits I've had with him. I think what I am trying to say is that when you love someone, don't put off telling them so, because the days and years move so fast. I love you Grandpa.
So, it's a day later and I come to find out that my Grandfather passed away about the same time I was uploading this video. It's OK. He's at peace now. God Bless. April 19th, 2007 less
