Miguel, to me, is Gordon Lightfoot's "El Paso" -- the sad story of a hard life, bad decision, untimely death and an everlasting love. It was difficult more...to find "period" pics for this one, so I must thank Tj for coming to my rescue and providing some of them. That's what made this truly a "team" effort!

I must admit, when I was offered Gordon Lightfoot's "Protocol", and actually listened to it, it scared me to death! So much history had to be packed more...into such a short timeframe, that I avoided it for some time before finally getting down to it. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary, defines Protocol as "a code prescribing strict adherence to correct etiquette and precedence (as in diplomatic exchange and in the military services). Gordon Lightfoot's "Protocol" is a lesson in history.
