 | | "Mindwalkerstudios" | I'm a simple gal with simple tastes. I've been told I'm easy to please because I enjoy the simple things in life...a smile, a hug. Dawn, my daughter, says the word that best describes me is independent. That's true, almost to a fault. I don't even like to ask for a ride when the car is in the shop. I'm a stickler for detail, most people call it anal. lol Yep, I am. I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. I believe there is something greater than us. There is just too much beauty in the world for it to be an accident. I'm just not willing to put a name to it.

| | | | For Jim ~ Negative Earth (Barclay James Harvest) 05:33 For fifty-five days I've been flying around the world Didn't anybody know, didn't anyone suppose That my life up here was slowly drifting by And all more...I've got to do is sit and cry The Earth is so clear and it's simply a reach away I just had to laugh today but the news it seemed to say That my life once full was surely running dry I prayed a while but then I had to cry
Look in my eyes - I know That man is surely just a man It's no surprise - I know The road is far too long And life too short to carry on
For fifty-five days I've been flying around the world Here in syncopated time, while my tangled web of rhyme Dangles aimlessly, time drips slowly by And all I've got to do is sit and cry
Look in my eyes - I know That man is surely just a man It's no surprise - I know The road is far too long And life too short to carry on
This video is a tribute to Jim Wilkins. Not only for providing the song for this video but to say "thank you" for your kindness, your generous spirit, and especially your friendship.
I enjoyed this song from the first time I heard it and I'm sure others will as well. I hope my video does it justice. less Added: Sep 9, 07 Views: 727 Category: Travel & Places |
| | | Clive Gregson & Christine Collister ~ I Will Be There 03:17 My second video production, not the best but I hope you enjoy the music. ;)
I first heard this song by Clive Gregson & Christine Collister (from their more..."Mischief" album, released in 1988) on a low budget horror movie and immediately fell in love with it.
Answers.com bio: Clive Gregson and Christine Collister were the most moving and memorable U.K. folk-rock duo to emerge since Richard and Linda Thompson. Gregson's wry tales of the ins and outs of love, sung in Collister's heartbreaking voice have earned the duo (and subsequent solo work) respect and a devoted following though commercial success and mainstream recognition have eluded them.
In 1984, Gregson discovered Collister singing in a folk club and, impressed by her talents, he offered to work with her on future projects.
By 1992, the stress of constant touring and working together with out substantial success finally took its toll on them. The two decided to go their seperate ways after one parting shot, "The Last Word", and one final tour. less Added: Sep 1, 07 Views: 106 Category: Travel & Places |
| | Annie Lennox ~ Love Song For A Vampire 04:19 Love Song For A Vampire was played during the end credits of Bram Stoker's Dracula, which happens to be one of my favorite movies.
Movie trivia: To more...keep the budget manageable, Columbia insisted that the film be shot in Los Angeles and not on location.
Among those who auditioned for the part of Dracula were Andy Garcia, Gabriel Bryne, Armand Assante, Antonio Banderas and Viggo Mortensen.
It is well known that Ryder did not like Oldman and between scenes she avoided him whenever she could.
Francis Ford Coppola has openly criticized his own reasoning for casting Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker. According to him, he needed a young, hot star that would connect with the girls.
Lennox trivia: Released in 1993, Love Song For A Vampire is one of Lennox's many solo successes after her break with British musician David A. Stewart of the Eurythmics. less Added: Sep 1, 07 Views: 153 Category: Entertainment |
