Mamadou Diop has over 30 years of experience performing live for audiences around the world.
As a rhythm guitarist, Mamadou Diop ranks among the best in the world.
Mamadou has worked with some of West Africa's most notable musicians including those of Thione Seck, Baaba Maal, Youssou Ndour, and Orchestra Baobab.

MAMADOU BAND- DAVE MAYNARD ON Debra Crosby's Talent Quest Show!

Debra Crosby’s Talent Quest LIVE TV on Monday July 9th on SATV proved to be an historic event with a wonderful roster of talent. The evening culminated into a celebration of the special guest Dave Maynard. Dave Maynard made many contributions to the media including producing and hosting Community Auditions for 30+ years.

The Debra Crosby's Talent Quest TV Show gets rebroadcast on many local cable stations including the cable station.   more...Up and coming talented singers, dancers, actors, performers and musicians from all over are invited to audition to be contestants on the show.

The MAMADOU band is the official house band of the show and graces the Talent Quest stage every month with their positive world fusion dance vibe.

The 1st place & 2nd place winners from the July show receive their trophies and gift certificates on the August 20th show and are invited to show case their winning acts. Every month, all first place winners receive a check and are invited to compete in the finale show in Jan 2008.

The winners from all of the previous Debra Crosby’s Talent Quest shows of 2007 are invited to perform at the international Multicultural Salem CultureFest on the Salem Common on Sat July 28th & Sun.
