Out of the mouths (drawings) of babes - there are no words to express the feelings.

Oh to see the world through the eyes of a child. Ever hopefull, always forgiving, brutially honest, never afraid to experience the world around them, just because they can. Working with kids myself, I often ask wonder when do we as "adults' loose these

a threat of nuclear obliteration but I suppose it seemed just background noise to us as kids. (I didn't realise until I was an adult just how close we had come to WW3 with the Bay of Pigs incident).
The media make it much more in the childrens' face and unavoidable nowadays, so I agree there is a loss of innocence to some degree. But allowing them the space to discuss and work it out for themselves can lead to them making better decisions than us in the future, I think.

Hi Syd,
WOW! What a great inspiring piece! This brought tears to my eyes big time, I guess because I feel, like so many of us do, that day changed us and had a profound effect on us. The artwork of those children speaks volumes! Thanks so much for sharing.
