Its my favorite castle that i have already visited in 1953 when school boy, since then the region fascinates me. We thinking of going again this year

I've been to castles but never saw one with little houses on the rooftop. Did individual families live on the roof? Was the roof for the domestic servants that worked at the castle?

Poeple lived in there. The walk around the top allowed acces to all those rooms. I guess that was to visit the ladies at night. Moral those days was virtually unknown. Its a pleasure castle, one can imagine what went on there apart from hunting
