He knew his way around that Isle of Man course like nobody else! You're right about his brother. He was killed in a race earlier this year.

The king of the mountain! Wow, he had such a long racing career... and how could you not like the man for not only his brilliance on the track, but also his character off of it. A very nice guy. Isn't '83 the first year he won the world championship? more...

Dunlop was winning F1 championships during the '80s when guys like Eddie Lawson and Freddie Spenser were taking the 500cc GP championship. Different series, I guess. Not sure why Dunlop was never a GP rider. Bike in the clip is a works Honda 850 V4.
