that's great i hope you get to peak out the ford. does the ford have a map sensor also? some have them if so you would be able to adjust the map pressure and lower the demand from ecu, this could be done w/pot. try google hydrogen garage go to products, look

The Ford does not have a MAP. But, Mass Air Pressure sensors do not present much of a problem were they are used. I know that we will get better mileage with the Ford with a few adjustments.
I also know that I will be out done by diesel engines that

break the 60 mpg barrier.
It is politics that holds America back. Ford has the car the gets 65 mpg but BMW and Nissan will be the first to sell simular cars in America.
We are first in technology but always the last to put it on our own streets.

I read the information and added a 10k resistor to the IAT sensor. The Ford does run leaner and in retard. It will be a while before I find out what the new mileage is. This looks like it may work. The engine runs well at all speeds. I tried before

to modify the other sensors, but that did not produce any better results. Adjusting the MAF sensor will lean the engine, but also advance the timing which is not good.
The O2 sensor will make tiny adjustments to the fuel to air ratio and so these was not much point in working with that. The IAT or Intake Air Temperature sensor does all the right things it seems. We started with a 4.7k ohm resister and the car would barely go 55 up a hill. However, with the 10k in place the car has a lot of power. I am also adding amonia to the generator to add energy. This really works to restore performance!

you can change your timing by simply adding a 10k resistor wired in parallel w/sig wire,a;so you must wire the coolant temp sensor the same way.now saying this a ford is a little diff cuz the resistor values must be higher. if you would like more info
