I just got reinspired to get a Connie...
just wondering how a fatter rear tire would serve the handling of the bike...?

Would likely degrade it. Fat tires make cornering more difficult, thinner ones want to lean over more, making it easier.

I have to, most of the time. No telling how fast he rides though, that man is nuts like that.

Actually, I was riding slow, allowing him to keep up. He knew I could leave him whenever, and had a few clear cut rules for me to follow. Near the end of that ride I was carving the hell out of some of those turns and at one point passed a biker while

Yea, I was a bit overwhelmed at first. I should have waited a little while to start filming, about 10 minutes after I ended that video I was a lot calmer behind the wheel, and was having a lot of fun.

Yeah, they did, but I am pretty sure I could have kept up with, if not flat out outrun the guy on the red one. That R1 is sick, I don't know about that Triumph though.

Wow, that thing is NICE. It looks so HUGE but it seems to ride like a much smaller bike. At least from what I can tell on the video.
It took me a bit to figure out why there was a reservoir on each handle bar.. lol.. hydrolic clutch. :)

It really does ride like a much smaller bike, I expected it to handle about like my cruiser does, but its not even close. The CG is a bit high, so low speed maneuvers are rough, but other than that its a dream.

That looks like a pretty fun road. About as far as you were moving the clutch when shifting is how my clutch and brake is. Its a very small friction zone. Looks like its a nice and smooth bike.

It has a bigger zone than it looks like, its just that easy to shift. To fully disengage the clutch you have to pull it pretty far.
