Be sure to check what the power is in Uganda. If they use the European 220 Volts, you'll need an adaptor to recharge the battery on your camera as well as any other rechargables, (taking a laptop, perhaps? be able to upload direct from your hotel if   more...

Are you sure the airline security will let you take the bottle opener on the plane? It looks like something they may confiscate. Good luck on your trip.

Bottle opener can probably go in one of the suitcases along with the pump for the soccer balls.
