I agree with the previous commentator. That was a great story, wonderfully well told ... and there are so many levels to the tale. For me, at this point in time, the lesson it teaches about the inevitable fate of trolls is the most potent.

Thank you so much. The trolls in the Fairy tale collected by Lang are very powerful creatures who captured and devoured good Christians. A sign that the story had changed much from its origins. Sorry, I digress, I could ramble on about the story longer more...
