Wonderful poem, Cindy; one I hadn't heard before. Superb reading, too. The audio on this is especially impressive: your voice and the music (which I recognize) in perfect balance. Oh, and gorgeous tree! Happy Holidays!

Thank you, Doug. The audio was digitally recorded in a sound proof booth at Recording Library for the Blind. I wonder if they will let me YT there? I thought you might recognize that tune. Happy Holidays to you too, Doug ;O)

(((HUGS))) This made me cry ... but in a good way. I relate to both characters in the story, sparrow and rescuer, on a very deep level.

{{{Nash}}} it made me cry too. i was assigned the poem to read for the Recording Library for the Blind and probably wouldn't have picked it myself. Mugwort and i often fight over such matters. he can't understand why i am stealing from him a catch more...
