Nice shot of Tower Bridge. How far up river are you from the tidal flood control system? Or is it not in place yet? I would love to see that in action if it is visible from above the water.

Thanks Dave, The Thames flood barrier is about 5 miles downstream of there, down in Woolwich.

You could continue doing this tour through summer and it would still be interesting. London is just amazing. Thanks for the vid.

Thanks for taking us on the tour.
I was thinking the same thing with the cars. Always like to see what others are driving in distant lands.

Thanks Arthur. Indeed, it's the differences that keep things interesting. However, I do feel we are become more and more homogenised as globalisation tightens its grip on us.

yeah, you're right, the honda, toyotas etc all look the same. but there are still some cars that stand out of the crowd, thank goodness.
I thought you would video as you were inside the train, the view outside, the scenery, but perhaps you couldn't get

Yep, lots do still stand out, I guess the black taxi cabs being the most obvious. I was fortunate enough to get a window seat on the train on my way home so those scenery shots will be showing up in part 4.

Thanks Starzship. Very interesting point you raise. It used to be so much more contrasting though. When I first went to the US in 91 I was blown away by the difference in the cars but now with all these generic East Asian / Jap models they have become

more and more ubiquitous. But there are still a few subtle differences here and there. Cheers.
