Listeners to Johnny Horton's song should know that he sings about arriving in Fairbanks, and then says that he goes to the Red Dog Saloon. The Red Dog is in Juneau and not in Fairbanks. The saloon is in wonderful shape and it is still very popular.

What a neat video of this Johhny Horton classic. I've been in Alaska (and Greenland) when it's 40 below, so this brings back fond (and not so fond) memories. Thanks for posting!
