Do they ever remove parts from the tree to make room for new parts? I would imagine it'll turn into a landfill after years & years or no maintenance. Glad to hear Ike got out of this one with minimal damage.

I expect they do. But I don't really know. Ike probably does.

If his fender is still hanging there next year, we shall have a clue.

Every year, there is a "big wheel race" from the state line to Deals Gap motorcycle resort. I think that the event marks the end of the riding season in the area. Not many of them make it without self destructing or with the weight of an adult on them.

The Tree is probably one of the most famous monuments in motorcycling. It certainly is a bit unusual.

That microphone picks up everything it seems. I'm very happy with the camera even though it is hard to mount well on a bike.

I hope the 2009 gathering is every bit as good as the 2008. You did a great job finding rides to go on. I'm really looking more...

damn that sucks he tried his best to keep the bike up but just couldnt avoid it hopefully i can make it up next year although the way things are going right now sadly i dont think il get another bike any time soon if i have the cage by then and i have more...
