ah, I think I MIGHT know what's wrong...it did that to me when I had a clip that I deleted from my computer in the project. It couldn't find the file, and told me so, and when I rendered it anyway it was just black at that part...I think that might be more...

I'll finish the Naruto one eventually but the problem is Sony Vegas is messed up when I try to save stuff with my old video footage. Now when I go to save the AMV, half of the clips don't render, so parts of the video are blacked out. So more...
