no. they are solid as a mofo -and can withstand an AK47. that is just a requirment under the Gladiator program. Remain operable and mission capable after being impacted by multiple 7.62mm small arms rounds at zero standoff distance. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/gladiator.
