THE SONG:
I picked this song because I figured it would be fun, quick, and easy to record. I suppose the fact that it's a little bit "out-there" also helped as well. I put the recording itself together within an hour or two. If you are interested in a higher quality version of the recording, you can get it at Peri's web site here:

THE VIDEO:
I got out of work early on Halloween and had the idea to do this as I was driving home. I rushed to put together the various props I needed (to start filming while there was still daylight left). I filmed everything I needed within a couple of hours and put the video together the following weekend. This was the first time I ever attempted the compositing effect seen in this video (I had no idea if it would even work), so it's kind of a crappy job... but the fact that I actually pulled it off was good enough for me!
Trivia: Yes, Billy. That really IS a 78 rpm record... less
