My first television appearance. Can you figure out which one is me? People who know me personally know more...that I was born and raised near the tri-state border of West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. Some refer to the area as the gateway to the Appalachian Smoky Mountains. It's a beautiful area, however, many look down on our culture and residents because we are poor. One of the most important lessons that I have learned thus far in my 48 years, is that money does not make someone a better person. A human beings character is not measured in dollars nor pounds nor the kind of car they drive, the dwelling that is their home. True human character and values such as integrity, honor, respect, good will, honesty and family values are the true wealth that measures a person. I am proud of my past, present and future and I hope that the lessons I have learned in life inspire others to be the best person that they can be.
Some people refer to my life story as a rags to riches back to rags story... you can be the judge if you wish.
