Hey Lady,
I think my muse went to live with you. LOL I really liked the cups with the sorta sideways handles, and the vessel with the triangular lid. Very cool!
Ebay is an idea, but there are also some places out there that are all about handmade things.

The one I can think of is etsy.com, but I've seen others, as well. But if you're not in a real big hurry to sell things, you might think of creating a website or just a blog. If you are any good at using keywords, the search engines should pull your site up when people search on Google, etc. And, of course, I bet a lot of your friends would be happy to post links on their own pages!

Hey wonderful!
I'm so sorry your muse fell asleep! Maybe I will have to send some of the SUPER-OOPS! from my last kiln to wake him/her up!
Thanks so much for the tip about Etsy! That is a much more suitable site for me. Need to figure out if they calculate

all shipping from USA or whether they would calculate my costs from here in Switzerland. Would be a pity if I got umpteen for shipping to Switzerland and zip for shipping to USA.
I am also thinking of setting up my own page, but I stopped making HTML stuff about 8 years ago, so I am completely lost! I have a roughed out plan for what it might look like, but nobody to make it for me.

Just absolutely beautiful, I just love your work and marvel at how you do what you do! Is there anyway you can just prop the camcorder up and just talk to us while you work so we can watch? :) How do you form the shapes...and get them to come out so

perfect. I don't see any molds, but they are so nice it looks molded. Anyway...big thanks for the ceramic post!

You're making me dizzy with all this complimentation! Thank you!
The "perfection" you see is a result of at times hours and hours of tweeking. That's one of my "things", that I want things just so. The three lidded vessels are in fact thrown closed on

the wheel. I do have some half-globe forms that I used quite a bit earlier - and used for the bird-feeder top and bottom.
Now that I am figuring out this new program, I will probably do a vlog or two in the workshop. I have also had a few Stickam-folk asking me if I can't just log onto Stickam when I am in the workshop. I may do that now and again, but this is a new laptop, and I kinda don't want to get it full of clay dust.
I might have a few old vlogs of the kind you are looking for over on youtube, though - youtube-dot-com-SLASH-user-SLASH-marihani

Maybe you could make a video of your grandmother painting - filming her from the back if she doesn't want to be on internet - or even just her paintings - or her hands painting something.
Yes - the program is a big help. Need to install it on my laptop,

though. Hope that will work. Have lots of footage from Heidelberg now.

Some interesting pieces in the latter 1/3 of the video... especially the curved-handled cups, the small almost-glazed pot with etched design and the small pots with distinctive lids. All very creative!

I like those pieces the best also. Figuring out the glazing of the cups and handles is a bit of a challenge. I have one glazed cup ready for firing and will wait to see how that turns out before I do any more cups.
The small pots were actually thrown

as closed pieces on the wheel and left to dry a bit, then cut open and worked on for what seems like hours for each piece. Good thing I have the DVD-player there so I don't get bored!
That scratched pot is also waiting for all those glaze test-tiles to be fired. I hope to fire Sunday in a week, and then we will really see what I can get up to!

You are a very busy worker. With the big kiln, it should help a lot.

Oh yes! The big kiln also lets me make both higher and wider pieces. I made a kind of a tray, but managed to break it before it was fired. Going to make another of those. It wouldn't even have fit width-wise in the old kiln I had.
