Amazing how far we've come - can you imagine where we'll go next? I remember hauling around a 50 pound "compact" computer strapped to me running up and down stairs to clients offices, I thought it was the coolest ;P

If it was a Compaq Portable - I had one of those as well - ha! ha! - they were the COOLEST! My first cellphone was about the same size as well! - ha! ha! :-)

I ALWAYS wanted one of there, but back in the day I just couldn't afford one - they were like the equivalent of $15,000 today. and then, of course, you had to have the Apple LaserWriter - another $10,000! :-)

Yes - they are also useful - I love both. But the PCs that were around when the Mac came out sucked BADLY
