SISTERS IN DISARMAMENT
Every Thursday afternoon At Westlake Center Women dressed in Black gather together They stand in silence In defiance of the violence Of more...their government Holding signs that say no war, Not in our name, Our grief is not a call to war,
They're not an organization, They're a loose knit affiliation, Of women who stand for peace.
They stand for peace, They stand for justice, They stand for freedom, For everyone not just us,
There's a gaggle of Grannies, Who've gotten off of their fannies, And started singing songs for peacce,
They sing satire, And wear funny attire, And set the crowd on fire, When they sing their songs for peace, They don't have no cd's, Not hat for money, They're just singing about what they believe, They take old songs you already know And change the words to be about what's going on in the world today You already know the melody I'm sure you can figure out the parody And sing along with the Raging Grannies At the next peace rally less
