We finally seen it. You are right I thought they did it justice. One of the things that stick out in my mind from the old ones was that Kirk was always pulling down his shirt lol. Uniforms changed but still looked awesome. Luv the new Spock. He has always   more...

Did you notice Spock does a shirt tug when he gets up to testify against Kirk in the movie? The "tunic tug" came as a result of the red uniforms from the movies. They would ride up whenever the actors would sit down, so it became an unconscious habit   more...

Me and Dork went to see it on opening weekend, and we both really liked it. I thought Zachary Quinto did a magnificent Spock, and even the old Spock was nostalgic. I too hope they get the next one out soon, because it looks like a promising series.

I   more...

Well, ideally the "Star Wars" Sextilogy is meant to be viewed as one movie. "Phantom Menace" was the set-up episode. I think what pisses a "Wars" fan off more than anything is having to wait another two to three years for the next movie.

Right now, as   more...

It sounds like its one that you will wanna watch over and over to catch everything. I want to see it on the big screen. Maybe today.

Yep, there's a whole lotta movie up there! And you want that big booming sound, too! Normally I go to a movie once, and if I like it I'll get the DVD, but THIS one takes me back to the days of my youth when there was NO home video and I went to see   more...

Excellent review!
Everyone I know who saw it, agrees with you!
They won't let me see it however, because dogs aren't allowed into the movie theater..:)

(Live long and you know what..:)

That's too bad, because dogs are less likely to cry like babies, less likely to talk like small children, and don't usually have cell phones on 'em. I think there should be special all-dog screenings.

I have to see it soon. One of my friends told me that he really enjoyed it for the same reasons you mentioned. Good review.

Have him take you! He'll wanna see it again anyway.

I second that! Was a little surprised by some of the cameos as well. Think it made a fine introduction to a new series of movies.

And a whole new generation of fans as well! The guy who works at my local Safeway Deli is 22 yrs old and could never get into the Original Series of Star Trek, but he LOVED this new movie. That this new movie can touch a new generation, and the old   more...

Hear, Hear. I thought it was a blast.

A blast, eh? Wellllllll, ya can't BEAT that! :-)

Here's a blast from the past when I got into the middle of a debate about the Trek relaunch between William Walkie Walker and Victor "1st" Mullins. I think it's pertinent to this review and kinda fun in retrospect. Enjoy
