I don't understand the stigma attached to meeting people online. Just meet in a public place, bring a parent or friend the first time. You might make a new friend. Surely not everyone on the net is a crazed psycho killer!

But I must disagree with you... You should never meet someone that you've talked to offline. What if he turns out to be some big sneaky creepy 45 year old man? Then any 14 year old "buff" guy friend wouldn't be able to help you. more...
