Meret Becker is a german singer/actress and she is the sister of the german actor Ben Becker and the stepdaughter more...of Otto Sander a german actor too ( Maybe you saw him in the film " Das Boot " where he play a small part at the beginning ).
In the year 1996 Meret Becker was also the wife of the bassist Alexander Hacke from Einstürzende Neubauten.

The song is from their album " Alles wieder offen " ( 2007 ).
Nagorny- Karabakh or Nagorno-Karabakh - the word Nagorno is transliterated from the russian more...language and means " Highland ". Likewise, the names for the region in the various local languages all translate to "mountainous Karabakh", or "mountainous black garden".
( I wrote this because I think it makes some parts of this song a bit understandable ). less
