Awesome set up.

I've always had my camera mounted directly in the wind stream so that nothing obstructs its view. Unfortunately the microphone does not have an attenuator circuit. Not a whole lot can be done about that except to crank down the volume in editing.

The mic picks up all sorts of stuff, including wind noise. Most of the time I don't really use the audio from it though. I tend to do voice overs.

You don't get wind noise?
I got the camera behind the shield so no wind noise a plus. The mic picks up all noise and drowns out.I get pops from the exhaust, heat expansion which I have never heard normally.

Sounds a little weird. Probably just the quality from the mic. I like the mount its nice. Im working on a 3rd person mount myself coming up behind me and foot or two above the rear end. That way you can see the road ahead of me and my movement on the   more...

Good luck with it.You'll find out when you try it.Thats always the fun part.

Im planning a 3 bar system with dampeners, cant hurt to try. If it fails ill just resort to the more commonly used side of the tail cam.

This camera has a funky mic.Not much I can do about it.The mount you want will be a tough one.You get vibration the longer the mount is away from the frame or something solid.Easiest is have a passenger hold the camera while you ride.
